Lei Heng
Cigar-smoking Thumb capo who once taught Ryoshu.
Lei Heng is a Capo IIII of the Thumb, ranked just below the Sottocapo, who taught Ryoshu in her youth through the House of Spiders. He is an antagonist who first appears in Canto VIII. He is a huge man with a cigar and a dadao fitted with exhaust pipes.

Personality
Lei Heng is nonchalant and used to being obeyed, with no regard for those beneath him. He is confident and at ease around anyone, speaking down to Ryoshu in a casual way even though she clearly dislikes him, sure that she cannot strike back at someone of his rank.
Story (spoilers)
As a child, Yoshihide, later Ryoshu, was tutored by several Five Fingers members, including Lei Heng. He was friendly on the surface but used her missing memories to make her show the Arayashiki again and again, and she came to despise him. In Canto VIII he spots her at the Family Hierarch Evaluations, and Faust has to stop a fight. During the coup attempt against Jia Xichun he fails to stop her, massacres her men and maims Wei. Zilu takes one blow in Xichun's place. Outnumbered and wounded, he begs for his life and Jia Qiu offers him a single blow he may survive, which kills him. He was secretly of the Pinky as the Winged Tiger. His memories resurface in Ryoshu's mind in Canto IX.
