Alfonso is the director of K Corp. and a minor antagonist of Canto IV. She is a tall, severe woman who runs her Wing with one goal: profit by any means. She appears mostly by phone before meeting the Sinners at the end of the Canto.

Personality
Direct and blunt, Alfonso cares only about the benefit and profit of her Wing. She feels nothing for the people tortured to produce tears and stays emotionally distant even when a subordinate dies, using the loss to protect the Wing's reputation.
Story (spoilers)
After the previous director died, Alfonso proposed harvesting tears from the Tearful Thing through violence and worked closely with Dongrang on it. In Canto IV she contacts Dongrang by phone and later appears in the Golden Bough's resonance. When the Sinners return with the Golden Bough after Dongrang's death, she tells them the blame will fall entirely on him, criticizes Dante's leadership, and refuses any contract of silence. Instead she has the Sinners' memories of the Wing wiped, which affects everyone except Dante.
