Dongrang is a Branch Manager in K Corp.'s Department of Food Resource Development and a former member of the League of Nine Littérateurs. With his secretary Samjo he guides the Sinners through K Corp. He is a major supporting character and antagonist of Canto IV.

Personality
Dongrang first seems kind and agreeable, but he turns out to be emotionally numb and nearly sadistic, driven to outdo his old League peers. He lost his pity for the people tortured to feed K Corp.'s Singularity and envied Yi Sang deeply. Underneath lies guilt he cannot face.
Story (spoilers)
Dongrang grew up in the same hometown as Yi Sang and Dongbaek and joined the League as a veterinarian who loved animals. When T Corp. interrogated him, he gave up the League's location, which led to its destruction. He later rose at K Corp. In Canto IV he promises the Sinners the Golden Bough, then watches the Technology Liberation Alliance attack and stabs Dongbaek with the Bough. In Yi Sang's memories his betrayal is exposed and his guilt resurfaces as the Distortion Who Denies All. He rejects his past, manifests the Farmwatch E.G.O, and is killed. Alfonso then blames him for the whole incident.
