- Affiliation
- Limbus Company
- First appearance
- Leviathan, Prologue: Selva Oscura
Personality
Laconic and in her own world. She is not shy or scared of the Sinners, stays apart from the group, and resists outside influence, such as learning to read a map. She is childlike, says things like vroom-vroom, talks about the bus as if it were alive, and acts needy and warm around Vergilius.
Story (spoilers)
As Lapis, she grew up in Vergilius' orphanage after he killed her Syndicate boss father. She survived an attack on the orphanage, then was kidnapped by the Ring and used in glass window experiments. Her personality was overwritten by an Identity of herself from another Mirror World, called Charon, who has none of Lapis' memories. Her friend Garnet was turned into a gem-like cocoon trying to save her. Vergilius took her in and agreed to guide Limbus Company so Faust's group would help him get Lapis and Garnet back. In Canto I, Yuri tried to teach her maps and died before it stuck. In Canto IX, Lucio took her hostage on Valencina's orders during the House of Spiders raid, and she was recovered safely.
