- Affiliation
- Limbus Company (LCE Department); formerly Lobotomy Corporation

- Intervallo V: LCB Regular Check-up
Personality
Blunt and haughty, Hohenheim speaks without regard for others and is disliked by most. His curiosity is reckless: he puts experiments ahead of safety, even choosing to Distort as his own test subject. Behind the arrogance are deep grief and survivor's guilt from his past at Lobotomy Corporation, which he hides behind a brash act.
Story (spoilers)
Hohenheim was a Control Team researcher at Lobotomy Corporation. Johann, a hire from the Backstreets, became his assistant, and when the Branch was sealed, Johann convinced him to take the last escape pod seat. Hohenheim later joined Limbus Company's LCE and favored hiring from the Backstreets. In the check-up he provoked Don Quixote into removing Rocinante, then chose to Distort via a Monolith to test a hypothesis about the self. The Sinners suppressed him inside his Fathoms, exposing his past, and he called the experiment a failure. In Canto IX he joined the raid on the House of Spiders and offered his own life to Callisto to save Alyssa.
