- Affiliation
- Limbus Company; formerly League of Nine Littérateurs and S Corp.'s Pi Circle
- Height
- 175 cm (5'9")
Personality
Quiet, mellow and thoughtful. He often watches rather than speaks, answers in obscure, riddle-like lines, and rarely changes expression. He is a genius but socially awkward and naive, taking jokes literally. After Canto IV he is warmer and more open, urging kindness and mercy and citing his own regrets over lost colleagues.
Story (spoilers)
Yi Sang was a researcher at T Corp. who invented the Mirror, and he belonged to the League of Nine Littérateurs. Its breakup left him grief-stricken and alone. Meeting Dante made him immortal against his will, which he saw as his deepest despair, since he quietly wanted eternal rest. In Canto IV, after his first clash with Dongbaek, he admits this to Dante, who senses a large cracked void in his chest. He is disgusted by Dongrang's callousness, saddened by the Wings' exploitation of people, and upset that Aseah uses his Mirror technology to experiment on humans. Through the Mirror he also speaks with Sang Yi, an Identity that urges him to stay with Hermann's group. By facing his past and finding hope, he chooses to live on with the Sinners.
