Personality

Timid, passive and afraid of fighting, with a sheltered background and hopeful beliefs that clash with Outis. He urges mercy for people, animals and Abnormalities, tries awkwardly to cheer up friends, and overthinks. He stutters when anxious and is hard on himself. Canto III shows he can hold grudges and despise corrupt people.

Story (spoilers)

Sinclair was a schoolboy in Calw and was befriended by Kromer, who used him and later massacred his family on Christmas Eve. In Canto III he finds the resolve to stand up to her and kill her, which makes him more confident and better able to handle the City. Dante's encouragement in Canto IV and V came late and awkwardly. In Canto IX, as Callisto and Albina corner Limbus Company, he awakens to his Sign and manifests a future version of himself, which destroys Fascia and crushes Albina.
