Full-Stop Hong Lu is a Poise identity built on many coins and Ammo. His real strength is the pairing with Full-Stop Heathcliff: Target Spotted lets Heathcliff fire free headshots after Hong Lu's attacks. Alone his numbers are modest, but the duo is a strong Pierce-weak answer and slots into Poise teams without special setup.

Uptie IV is worth it as part of the duo, but there is no single standout breakpoint. His value is mostly in the Heathcliff combo, not raw stats.

How to play

Use Skill 2 and Skill 3 with Heathcliff on the field so Target Spotted triggers his free follow-up shots. Spend Ammo on Skill 2 and 3 for the damage bonus. At 0 Ammo the evade turns into Beyond the Shadow, which reloads once per encounter. Keep Heathcliff in Overwatch or as a backup to empower Skill 2 and 3 with a fourth Unbreakable coin.

Yes, mainly as a pair with Full-Stop Heathcliff. Alone his damage is average, but with Target Spotted the duo does huge Pierce damage and fits any Poise team.
Does Full-Stop Hong Lu need Heathcliff?
He works alone, but most of his value comes from Heathcliff's free headshot follow-ups. Without Heathcliff his numbers fall well behind newer Poise options.
