How Bleed works
Bleed deals fixed damage to a unit every time it tosses an attack skill coin. It rewards long clashes and enemies with many coins or skill slots.
Bleed has Potency and Count. Each time the bleeding unit tosses a coin on an attack skill, it takes fixed damage equal to Potency and Bleed Count drops by 1. That includes direct attacks and every clash, even lost or tied ones. Defense skills, including counters, never trigger it. Potency caps at 99, so a maxed Bleed deals 99 per coin. As the dump's example shows, an enemy with three attack skills, each clashed five times, would take 1485 fixed damage. Fixed damage ignores buffs like Protection, level scaling, and resistances. Bleed links to the Lust affinity. Related effects include Nails, a unique Bleed that adds Count at turn start and halves at turn end, and Bloodfeast, a shared resource for La Manchaland Bloodfiends that stores Bleed damage dealt in the zone, up to 999. Bleed often does best when the enemy attacks unopposed, and Staggering an enemy can actually cut its output.
Team tips
- ✦Target enemies with one part, many coins, or many skill slots.
- ✦Let a tank with Aggro defend while your Bleed units attack unopposed.
- ✦Save big Bleed Count applications for when the enemy is Staggered, then let it bleed after recovery.
- ✦Plus Coin Drop or Sinking can stretch clashes into long ties, giving Bleed more triggers.
- How does Bleed work in Limbus Company?
- Whenever a bleeding unit tosses a coin on an attack skill, it takes fixed damage equal to Bleed Potency and loses 1 Count. Clashes count too, including lost or tied ones.
- Does Bleed trigger on defense skills in Limbus Company?
- No. Defense skills, counters, and clashable counters do not trigger Bleed damage. Only attack skill coin tosses do.
- Is Bleed good in Limbus Company?
- It can deal very high damage, especially in Mirror Dungeons with Gifts that boost Potency and Count. It is weak against enemies with many parts or only one skill slot.
