Sinking clasher with very high coin power

A Sinking identity with some of the highest coin power in the game at 28, and conditions that are easy to meet. He is a dedicated clasher who stacks Sinking count for the team's big hitter, which makes him close to a requirement for a serious Sinking team. His own damage is only average.

Worth pulling?
good pull
Uptie
Uptie IV is worth it if you play Sinking, since his strength is clash power and coin reliability. It is less useful outside that archetype.

How to play

Open with skill 1 and skill 2 to build Sinking and Sinking count, since both gain coin and clash power from what is already on the target. Skill 2 also gives Haste once the target has enough Sinking. Use skill 3 when you have plenty of Sinking count for its clash power, and it absorbs Sinking for Damage Up and a Plus Coin Boost next turn. Dodge with the evade when your clash is weak, and keep stacking count for your main damage dealer.

  • +Very high coin power with easy conditions
  • +Reliable clashes against targets with Sinking count
  • +Supplies plenty of Sinking count for the main damage dealer
  • +Absorbs Sinking to gain Damage Up and a Plus Coin Boost
  • −Average damage on his own
  • −Low HP and fatal to pierce
  • −Sinking teams ramp up slowly and depend on one damage dealer

FAQ

Is Edgar Family Heir Gregor good?
Yes for Sinking teams. His 28 coin power is rare, and he supplies lots of Sinking count for the team's main damage dealer. His damage is average on its own.
Should I pull Edgar Heir Gregor if I do not play Sinking?
Mainly only for Sinking. His clash power is excellent, but the rest of his kit is built around Sinking, so outside that team there are better choices.
What does Edgar Heir Gregor pair with?
Spicebush Yi Sang is the main damage dealer of a Sinking team, and Butler Faust or Chief Butler Outis add more Sinking count.
