How Tremor works
Tremor does not hurt HP. Its Tremor Burst pushes down a unit's Stagger Threshold, so it is best for forcing Stagger on enemies with several thresholds.
Tremor has Potency and Count. When an attack triggers Tremor Burst, the target's Stagger Threshold is raised by its Tremor Potency, which makes Stagger come sooner. Count drops by 1 at turn end, and some skills that trigger Tremor Burst lower it too. Tremor links to the Sloth affinity, and its users often carry Sloth or Gloom skills, usually Blunt. The plan is to Stagger enemies, then exploit the +50% damage they take for each Stagger level. Since threshold damage is not HP damage, high Potency alone is wasted on enemies with few thresholds, and a Burst does nothing once no thresholds remain. Amplitude Conversion turns Tremor into a special type without changing Potency or Count, and Amplitude Entanglement fuses types into Superposition, which reverts to base Tremor at turn end. Some Identities gain Tremor on themselves and spend its Count like Charge, and they can bank up to 99 Count.
